COVERGIRL is Such a Blast...Flipstick!

One of the biggest drags about growing up is that you don't get toys anymore. You can play with the kids' toys, but they're just not yours.

But then I got my latest opportunity from BzzAgent!

Aww...but that's just makeup...

No, it's creativity and pretty rolled all into one. May I introduce the latest lipstick innovation...The COVERGIRL Blastflipstick. I know, the name is entertaining. My thirteen-year-old daughter kept saying it over and over. Despite that, I still enjoy it.

But what makes it so different?

Two colors in one tube. One day, one night. Pretty cool, right?

It gets better. You can combine both shades to make a fun third color. And even more can mix and match all of the different combos.

Even the names are fun: Whisper, Pucker, Glimmer, Flashy, Vixen, Perky, Tease, Cheeky, Stunner, Snap, Smooch, Minx, and Intense.

I personally got to try Vixen, Stunner, and Minx. I tested them on my arm first, and you can see how they could work together. In order: Stunner, Minx, Vixen.

But doesn't that mess up the original colors?

No, not really. I took a swab and wiped the traces of the other color off gently. It doesn't transfer much. Alternatively, you could apply it with a makeup brush, if you're really worried about it.

I liked Vixen best on me. Here's both shades combined:

 Glamorous, yes? Classy, I think.

My daughter preferred the flashier Stunner...I might whip it out on date night. It is quite fun.

I don't think Minx looked very good on me, so I brought in a guest model to show you that one:

And for fun, I mixed shades from Minx and Vixen and got a great new look!

I like the versatility...with just a few of these, you could have a new color every day for a long time. And as I mentioned, it's fun to play a toy for grownups with pretty attached.

Heads up on one thing...they are not the long-wearing type of lipstick, so you need to use a sealer unless you want to freshen up frequently. The tubes are pretty cute, though, so that may not be a big deal.

I can't wait to go grab some other colors and come up with new combos. Thank you, COVERGIRL and, for the opportunity!
