BODYARMOR SuperDrink: Put The Happy Back in Hydration!

I consider sports drinks to be a necessary evil. Necessary, as in the simple fact that my teen and husband need more than water to hydrate, and evil, as in they are often less than enjoyable in the flavor arena. I also worry about the amount of artificial ingredients. Check the label...you'll see what I mean.

But then I was introduced to BODYARMOR SuperDrink, and discovered that hydration time could be happy time.

First off, there's no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or colors. Yet it's still in all sorts of pretty hues. Nature rules!

They accomplish the hydration angle using electrolytes and coconut water, with natural flavors and sweeteners. It's even gluten free and kosher. My eldest, who is CRAZY heat sensitive, enjoyed it both for its sweet, fruity flavors and how it made her feel fabulous.

Sweet and fruity? You bet. I can't stand sports drinks myself, because it always seems to have that slightly salty aftertaste, or it's weakly flavored, or the artificial flavoring is glaringly obvious. I got NONE of that from BODYARMOR SuperDrink. It's good enough that I didn't even want to wait to get overheated to enjoy it. And for me, that is a serious rave. It's available in fruit punch, orange mango, strawberry banana, tropical punch, lemon lime, mixed berry, grape and blackout berry. My personal fave was the blackout berry...it reminds me of a blueberry slush.

For all that sweet, sweet joy, the stats are still decent...only 70 calories for an eight-ounce serving, and 18 grams of carbs.

Hit your level of want? You can find it at Wegman's and Target. Get a coupon here: www.drinkbodyarmor.com/coupons

Not Just Another Cheesy Gift: Well, Maybe a Little.

Okay, so, we love cheese in my house. While we have a wide range of appreciation for the cheese itself, our tools for cutting the cheese (Snicker...sorry.) were less upscale. But guess what? There's this.

The cutting board, that's mine, and not included. But the beauty on top is the Laminas 5-Piece Stainless Steel Cheese Knives set, which includes a parmesan knife, spreader, fork, chisel and narrow plane. And yes, you need them to cut cheese. It makes it so much easier for all kinds of cheeses, from soft to hard. (Snicker. Sorry again.) You know how you never realize how much you needed something until you get it? That's the deal with cheese knives.

Pictured: a firm cheddar and a softer colby jack, both neatly cut. And as you see, the tools are attractive enough to leave out for active use, and have well-made, sharp blades. They're nice and sturdy...the handles have a nice weight to them, and feel great in the hand. These would make an excellent housewarming gift, especially paired with a nice bottle of wine.
